Danielle..As you rightfully pointed the write-up took me "back to childhood and a casual feeling, and the colors are evocative of India" . You suggested menu is really appealing , especially for a South Indian like me. If Kamala's novel is filled with the same kind of "nostalgia" , I cannot wait for the book. I am really jealous that you could enjoy the Indian village untouched by time and the tropical garden . But then there is a mounting thrill in waiting for the "Pineapple ". My love and congratulations to Kamala! Danielle, all my wishes to you for this exciting bolg. I will be this visiting more often.

Forgive the belated inaugural comment; first, the website is beautiful, intelligent, elegant, and innovative, with no entry better exemplifying all these traits than your tribute to the lovely Ms. Nair. The imaginativeness of the above simply astounded me, as all your suggestions/explanation relate so well to the spirit and themes of the novel, rather than a broad South Indian menu created merely to cater to geographical location. Very happy and impressed.
